WEEKLY GOALS                                                                                        WEEK OF 4-04-16

Time is given in class for goals – Goals not completed in class are homework.

o   Read a novel at least 20 minutes daily – Deadline to earn at least 10 AR points is FRIDAY,  May   - See me if you need help choosing your next book. J

o   Sign in to:  learn2earn.org  Use your normal username and  6 digit password. Record books you have read up until April 1. Use a printout from AR. Do not record books you failed AR test. This must be complete – Due FRIDAY

o   Create a variety of graphs and charts in Google Sheets using data Mrs. Abernethy gives you from “Who’s Reading?”, “AR,” “AIMS web,” “Read Theory,” and “BirdBrain” (You will be taught this and we will do this in class) – Due Friday

o   Create a game to practice PSSA skills (alone, with a partner or with up to three students in a group.) – Due Friday

o   Hand in final copy of edited animal slide project – Due Friday

o   Spelling City Assignments – Due Friday

o   Assigned Reading ribbons – Due Friday

o   Assigned English ribbons – Due Friday

 

BONUS:  Parents leave blog comments on our class blog or reading blog, extra Spelling City practice, take a practice spelling test signed by parent, write spelling words 3 times each, read an extra novel and take an AR test.

Please write any additional assignments that may be assigned during the week below.
